Two well-known Bollywood actors, Ameesha Patel and Hrithik Roshan, debuted in the box office hit 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' (2000), which was directed by Rakesh Roshan. Following this achievement, Ameesha went on to star as Sakina opposite Sunny Deol in the 2001 hit movie 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,' which was directed by Anil Sharma. Ameesha has been actively marketing 'Gadar 2,' the highly anticipated sequel, and providing intriguing snippets and surprises since the film's August 11 release date.

Ameesha recently amused the audience with her insightful observations during her appearance on the well-known television programme 'The Kapil Sharma Show' with Sunny Deol. During one of the performances, a spectator imitated Ameesha's Sonia role from 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai,' which caused her to laugh out loud. She then recalled her memories of the outside filming for the movie and how, unlike her co-star Hrithik, she never worried about obtaining a tan.
Ameesha remembered Hrithik as being constantly aware of his appearance, particularly his hair and whether he would tan. However, she changed her attitude and said, "Hone do" (let it happen). Viewers got a peek into the dynamics of the movie behind the scenes thanks to this amusing episode of the programme.
Ameesha also revealed another fascinating aspect of her filmmaking path. She had previously stated in the same episode that Rakesh Roshan had first discouraged her from portraying a mother to a seven-year-old in 'Gadar.' However, the movie went on to become a cult favourite and a huge box office success. Ameesha emphasised the idea that occasionally defying expectations can result in unanticipated success.
During her appearance on 'The Kapil Sharma Show,' Ameesha also addressed a persistent rumour. She confirmed that Rakesh Roshan first saw her when she was barely 14 or 15 years old and expressed interest in casting her in a movie with Hrithik. They first turned down the offer, though, due to her family's history in politics and business and her ambitions to attend Boston University.
But fate had other ideas. Ameesha met Rakesh Roshan at a wedding after she got back from Boston. When her family told him that she had just returned from Boston, everything clicked into place, and he was able to recognise her right away. She signed the 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' contract in two days, and a week later, she began filming the movie.

The 'The Kapil Sharma Show' presence of Ameesha Patel gave viewers entertaining anecdotes from her early days in Bollywood. Her experiences on the sets of 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' and 'Gadar,' as well as her unplanned introduction into the film industry, gave the marketing campaigns for the much awaited release of 'Gadar 2' a nostalgic and informative touch.
