‘Houesfull 5’ is set to make history as the first-ever Indian cinema franchise to boast five installments, a testament to its enduring popularity.

Sajid Nadiadwala said in a statement To ANI, “My journey in the film world has always been about giving the best movie experience to our audience. We’ve built strong relationships with the UK and Saudi Arabia, making these places feel like a second home for our movie shoots. Our commitment to entertain our viewers remains strong, and our upcoming movies promise to make the audience laugh with ‘Housefull 5,’ inspire with ‘Chandu Champion,’ and captivate with ‘Baaghi 4.'”

The ‘Housefull’ franchise made its debut in 2010 with the release of the first installment. The inaugural film featured a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal, and Boman Irani. This comedy extravaganza garnered tremendous success, setting the stage for the franchise's enduring journey.

In 2012, ‘Housefull 2’ continued the comedic brilliance with another hit sequel. The sequel boasted an ensemble cast featuring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, John Abraham, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, and Asin, captivating audiences with its humor and charm.

While the first two installments were directed by Sajid Khan, the franchise took a slight detour with the third installment in 2016. Directors Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji took the reins, delivering another dose of laughter and entertainment.
