Hrithik Roshan has reportedly backed out of Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming film 'Ramayan'. The project has been in the news for quite some time now due to its casting. Earlier, Hrithik was supposedly playing Ravan and Ranbir Kapoor was roped in to play Ram.
However, from what we learn now, Hrithik is no longer a part of Ramayan. Apparently, Duggu was not too excited to play the negative part of Ravan after playing Vedha in Vikram Vedha. Hence he decided to bow out of the project.
Post his exit from the project, Hrithik Roshan has turned his attention towards 'Krrish 4', which has been in troubled waters due to technical issues.
As per reports, Hrithik has been discussing extensively with his father Rakesh Roshan and plans to lock the script of 'Krrish 4' as soon as possible. He wants to the film to go on floors in the shortest possible time. From VFX to visuals, the 'Jodha Akbar' actor is leaving no stone unturned to make 'Krrish 4' a desi superhero flick.
Noteworthy, this film will be the fourth one in the 'Krrish' franchise. It will carry forward the story of 'Krrish 3', which released in 2013 and featured Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut in leading roles.
On professional front, Hrithik Roshan has no releases this year. He will next feature in Yash Raj Film's 'Fighter', which will hit the theatres in 2024.
Also starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, 'Fighter' has been directed by Siddharth Anand. It will tentatively release on 25 January 2024.
