Hrithik Roshan has revealed his connection to the enduring Lord of the Rings film series as he prepares for his upcoming movie Vikram Vedha. Since its release, LOTR, which is considered one of the best trilogies and is based on the J.R.R. The Tolkien novel of the same name, has captivated fans of fantasy movies.
The War (2019) actor reminisced and related an event that happened in 2004 when his father Rakesh Roshan rewatched Lord of the Rings on a certain day.
Speaking outside of a promotional event for the upcoming streaming series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Hrithik stated, “It was in 2004 when my father saw the first part of Lord Of The Rings. After finishing the movie, he couldn’t help but head to the second part. Post that he put on the third party tool for viewing. Yeah he completed the trilogy in a single day back then.”
Then Hrithik recounted what his father had said after watching the movies. He said, “After completing the film, he
called me and we discussed the grandeur of the film and everything about it in terms of filmmaking, the characters and the setting.”
'Why can't we take Koi... Mil Gaya, which is one of our previous films, and has a progression?' And that was the birth of Krrish. So, if there was no The Lord Of The Rings, there would be no Krrish," concluded the 48-year-old actor.
