Kareena Kapoor Khan is no stranger to success. A superstar right since her first film, she has established herself as one of the best actresses in the Hindi film industry; delivering a series of critically and commercially successful film in a span of over 20 years.
Despite all the achievements and accomplishments, Bebo still remains a learner at heart and takes every film with a quest to perfect herself as an actor.
Currently looking forward to her upcoming release Laal Singh Chaddha, Kareena recently revealed that she auditioned for her role in the film to prove that she could do justice to the character.
'I gave an audition for Laal Singh Chaddha. It was so that I could prove I am apt for the role, and I am perfect for the older part,” revealed the 41-year-old actress.
"Aamir (Khan) asked me to listen to a narration for the film. He gave me a four-hour-long narration and that is why I said yes to Laal Singh Chaddha,” she further added.
Coming to Laal Singh Chaddha, the film is the official Hindi remake of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump, which itself is based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name.
Directed by Advait Chandan from a screenplay written by Eric Roth and adapted by Atul Kulkarni, the film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios. It features Aamir Khan as the titular character along with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya (in his Hindi film debut), and Mona Singh.
Laal Singh Chaddha is scheduled for a release on 11 August 2022.
