I'm back for my vengeance, says Kamaal R Khan as he returns to Twitter after getting bail

A few days back, Bigg Boss fame Kamaal R Khan aka KRK was arrested by the Mumbai police from the city's airport, in connection with some old cases.

He was taken into custody for two different tweets, a 2020 case of alleged derogatory tweets about Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma and a molestation case filed against him at Mumbai's Versova Police Station last year.

However, the self-proclaimed film critic is out on bail and is seeking revenge for his arrest.

Taking to social media on Sunday, KRK wrote, "I am back for my vengeance."

Meanwhile, the Police have claimed that Khan's posts on Twitter were communal and he blatantly targeted Bollywood figures.

However, Khan in his bail plea moved through advocates Ashok Sarogi and Jay Yadav, said that the tweets in question were only his comments on the film titled "Laxmii Bomb" (released as only "Laxmii") and no offence as alleged by the police was committed. Khan is acting as a "critic and/or reporter in the film Industry", the bail plea said.

Now coming to the sexual harassment case, a 27-year-old woman had filed a complaint in June last year stating that KRK had tried to outrage her modesty. A case was filed against KRK under sections 354(A) (sexual harassment of the nature of unwelcome physical contact) and 509 (word or gesture intending to insult the modesty of any woman) of the IPC.

The complainant had alleged that KRK had called her to his bungalow in Versova on the pretext of offering her the lead role in a film. As per the FIR lodged, the lady stated that Khan spiked her drink and touched her inappropriately.

However, Khan's advocate Jay Yadav told Bandra Magistrate Court that the FIR was registered 18 months after the incident and that too after the victim's friend asked her to do so.

He also claimed that the content of the FIR did not match the alleged molestation incident practically.
