Iconic Song 'Choli ke Peeche' Was Labelled As VULGAR; Shubash Ghai's Shocking Confession!
Subhash Ghai, who directed the famous 1993 movie Khal Nayak, thought about the debate surrounding the song 'Choli ke Peeche,' which was first meant to be a folk song.

Choli Ke Piche Song Controversy
Remembering how people reacted, Ghai was shocked and upset that the song was called vulgar. He saw it as a tragedy and a big shock. Even though there were protests when the movie came out, Ghai stressed in an PTI interview that the song was presented in an artistic way.
About 'Choli Ke Piche' Song:
A major newspaper even recognized its importance as a great piece of Indian cinema, which made things a little better. The famous duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal composed the song, and Anand Bakshi wrote the lyrics. Alka Yagnik sang background vocals for Madhuri Dixit, and Ila Arun sang a folk version that she did with Neena Gupta.

About 'Khalnayak' Movie:
Ghai says that the 'Khalnayak's entertaining parts somewhat masked the fact that it was originally meant to be a mother-son story. Anupam Kher, Siddharth Randeria, Aloka Mukherjee, Ramya Krishnan, and Pramod Moutho were some of the other actors, Rakhee played Sanjay Dutt's mother Aarti in the movie. Starring Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff in lead, 'Khalnayak' was released in 1993.
