IIFA 2022: Kartik Aaryan to miss his first live performance as he tests positive for COVID-19

One of the most sought-after actors, Kartik Aaryan has made it big in the entertainment industry on his own. His latest Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022) is going super-strong at the box office and is nearing the Rs 150 crore mark.
Ever since the release of the film, he has been the talk of the town. After enjoying the success of his film, the actor was all set for his first-ever live performance at the prestigious IIFA 2022. Unfortunately, the Pyar Ka Punchnama (2011) actor can’t make it to the main event as he is down with COVID.
Shockingly, the actor has contracted the virus for the second time and his admirers are wishing for his speedy recovery.
Speaking of the event, the IIFA Awards is currently happening in Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island. While the main event is set to happen today, Bollywood superstars like Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff, Shahid Kapoor, and others have already graced the event.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan will next be featured in Shehzada, which is the official remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020). Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film also features Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, and Paresh Rawal in significant roles.
