At a luncheon held on Monday in Beverly Hills, the 95th Oscar nominees were celebrated. The yearly custom has evolved into the unofficial start of the second round of Oscar campaigning. Numerous celebrities attended the event in an effort to win a trophy at the yearly awards ceremony. The Indian nominees Shaunak Sen, Guneet Monga, Kartiki Gonsalves, MM Keeravaani, and Chandrabose were seen during the annual class photo.
Many well-known Indian figures were also present. In the front row is Shaunak Sen, whose movie All That Breathes is up for Best Documentary Feature Film, while Guneet Monga and Kartiki Gonsalves, whose documentary The Elephant Whisperers is up for Best Documentary Short, can be seen in the first and second standing rows, respectively. Additionally seen in the second standing row were MM Keeravaani and Chandrabose, whose song Naatu Naatu from the movie RRR is up for Best Original Song.
Numerous nominees, including Tom Cruise, Michelle Williams, Sarah Polley, Rian Johnson, Mary Zophres, and Diane Warren, as well as multiple winners, including Steven Spielberg, Roger Deakins, and Justin Hurwitz, were also there. There were also first-time nominees’ Paul Mescal, Ke Huy Quan, Austin Butler, Hong Chau, and Brandon Fraser in attendance.
The famous Dolby Theatre in Hollywood will be hosting the 95th Oscars on March 12. This time, three important Indian films are vying for the prestigious Oscars Awards 2023 nominations.
