Inside Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar's star studded wedding bash
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have been ruling the headlines since they tied the knot on 19th February, 2022. The duo started dating in 2018 and after four years of relationship, got married in Khandala in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family. The Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013) actor took to his Instagram to share the exclusive pictures from his wedding bash. He shared a series of pictures from his fun wedding festivities which included family and friends.
Farhan and Shibani's wedding pictures are a treat to the eyes as everyone was seen having a blast. In the first picture, Farhan is seen posing with his groomsmen and his mom. The entire squad is seen twinning in black suits. In the second picture, he is seen posing with his daughters, Shakya and Akira Akhtar followed by a picture where Shibani is dancing with Javed Akhtar and Farhan's step mom, Shabana Azmi is dancing with the bride's father, followed by a picture of singers Loy Mendonsa and Shankar Mahadevan treating everyone to a song, followed by another picture where the groom is seen shaking a leg with Hrithik Roshan and Farah Khan. In the next two pictures, the groom is having fun with his bride and the bridesmaids are lifting him. Farhan and Shibani's wedding looks no less than a real-life fairytale!
On Monday, Farhan and Shibani registered their marriage and later that day had a reception for their friends and family at their Mumbai home. In their first public appearance since the wedding, the couple even gave out sweets to the photographers stationed outside their home.
In 2015, Akhtar and Dandekar met on the sets of the reality TV show I Can Do This, where Farhan was the host and Shibani was a competitor. It was in 2018 that they confirmed their relationship and made their first public appearance at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding.
This is Farhan Akhtar's second marriage. He was previously married to British-Indian hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani. The couple got divorced in 2017.
