There was a time when Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan were one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. However, things fell apart and the two parted ways. Down the years, they have maintained a good professional rapport; which was evident when the duo acted together for Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab in 2016.
Interestingly, a very surprising news about the former couple had come out in public when Kareena, in an interview, revealed that she got to know about Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput's wedding even before the news broke out in the media. Furthermore, it was Shahid himself who informed her about his big day!
“Both of us were performing at a Femina event. We chatted. So he actually told me about him getting married before he told the media. I’m very happy for him. He’s doing very well professionally… I haven’t seen Haider yet, but my sister saw it and loved it. And I can vouch for marriage being cool. I’d just like to wish him well,” Bebo had said in an interview.
Notably, Kareena Kapoor is married to Saif Ali Khan now and is mother to Taimur and Jehangir Ali Khan. On the other hand, Shahid and Mira are parents to Misha and Zain Kapoor.
While their relationship is a thing of past now, what's assuring is that both Shahid and Kareena are happy in their respective lives and are doing professionally well.
