The team began with a bang yesterday, as KKR defeated Gujarat Titans.
It was raining sixes last evening at the Narendra Modi stadium in Gujarat. That was no ordinary victory. Rinku Singh hit five sixes in a row to bring this big hit to the Kolkata Knight Riders. Rinku hit five straight sixes off the final five deliveries of the run-chase, with KKR needing 28 to win, propelling the team to an incredible victory. Rinku batted on nine off 14 deliveries at one point; his power-hitting began with the fifth ball of the 19th over, and the hitter eventually crushed Yash Dayal in the final over. Shah Rukh Khan, the owner of KKR was overjoyed by the win and Rinku’s batting.

Shah Rukh Khan Wishes Rinku In 'Pathaan' Style
King Khan rushed to Twitter to congratulate Rinku Singh on his major accomplishment. He wished him in Pathaan style. Shah Rukh Khan shared the PathaAn poster that changed his face into Pathaan's. And he wrote, "Jhoome Jo Pathaan," congratulating the KKR team. He also praised cricketers Nitish Rana and Venkatesh Iyer for their outstanding performances.

This was KKR's second win of the season in three games; the team won its first game earlier this week in Kolkata when Shah Rukh Khan was also present.
