Isha Koppikar: I am trying my hands in politics
Isha Koppikar will soon be seen in MX Player’s streaming show Dhahanam.

Isha Koppikar, who is known for her performances in such successful films as Company (2002), Kaante (2002) and Kya Kool Hain Hum (2005), has been away from the arclight for quite some time now. But she is trying her best to revitalise her career and will soon be seen in Ram Gopal Varma's web series Dhahanam.
Ask her about her absence from films, and Koppikar says, “Now that there is OTT, it is more content-driven, so now a lot of actors are getting their fair chance to act.”
She says that she does not like working just for the sake of working and that she is also trying her hands in politics. “I have a lot on my plate. I have a start-up of my own in the hospitality business. Also, I am trying my hands in politics.”
The actress further continues, “There has to be some really interesting work to do. I got a lot of scripts. Since my daughter was 3 months old, I have been working. But I think the south has understood my value more than Bollywood has.”
Dhahanam, a crime thriller, will be available to stream on MX Player from April 14, 2022.
