Bollywood films are finding it difficult to find a solo date this year for their releases with so many films lined up to hit the theatres after the pandemic. Every new month this year saw a clash of films at the theatres on the same day. Like Ponniyin Selvan vs Kantara, Thank God Vs Ram Setu and now three major Bollywood films that will clink at the theatres this weekend. Phone Bhoot starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khatter, and Katrina Kaif, Mili starring Janhvi Kapoor & Sunny Kaushal, and Double XL featuring Sonakshi Sinha & Huma Qureshi all release at the theatres on November 4. All three films have different genres.
Phone Bhoot
Excel Entertainment, run by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhawani, funded the movie, which is directed by Gurmeet Singh. Siddhant and Ishaan portray the roles of Major Sherdil Shergill and Galileo Parthasarthy, commonly known as Gullu, in the film. Together with Katrina Kaif, who appears as a ghost, they collaborate on a mission. Jackie Shroff and Sheeba Chaddha both play prominent roles in the film Phone Bhoot. Jackie is portraying a character named Aatma Ram who works to sabotage Katrina, Ishaan, and Siddhant's objectives.
Double XL
Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra, the film's two male heroes, accompany Sonakshi and Huma in this insane adventure that takes place in New Delhi, Meerut, and Mumbai. Satramm Ramani's comedy-drama addresses stigmas associated with body size and sends a strong message that anything is achievable with enough willpower.
Mili
After captivating audiences with GoodLuck Jerry, Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen in the survival thriller Mili. The Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Helen, Mili, is likewise helmed by Mathukutty Xavier. The suspense is increased by the fact that Janhvi works at a fast-food restaurant located in a mall and gets locked in the freezer. She battles for her life at every cold second.
