In a time when several actors vanish from the public eye after a couple of films only, staying relevant and at the top of your game for a decade is no less feat for any actor. Esha Gupta, who has delivered several memorable performances over the years, has proven time and again that if you are consistent and honest in your approach towards your work, you can never fade into obscurity.
As Gupta clocks ten years in showbiz, we cannot help but look back at her inspiring journey in the Hindi film industry. Be it Jhanvi Tomar of Jannat 2 (2012) or Sanjana Krishna of Raaz 3D (2013), or Priti Makhija of Rustom (2016), Esha Gupta has always taken the stage to leave an indelible mark on the audience. Today, exactly ten years ago, the versatile exploded on to celluloid and gave the year's biggest hit with Jannat 2.
While celebrating the feat, Gupta said, "It's surreal and still feels unreal. Sometimes, I still cannot believe that I am such a lucky girl to be an actor in the Indian film industry. God truly works in mysterious ways, and the universe has so much in abundance for all of us. A girl from nowhere, making it to the big screen, and people knowing my name! I cannot be more grateful and thankful for you to be who I am and for the love I have earned from the audience and the industry. There is not a thing I would change in my life, some are achievements, and some are lessons."
Meanwhile, Esha Gupta next stars in Aashram 3 and Invisible Woman in the pipeline.
