‘It was a childhood dream to be working with him,’ Esha Gupta on Aashram 3 co-star Bobby Deol
Bobby Deol’s popular series Aashram is all set to return with its third season. Aashram 3 is directed by Prakash Jha and stars Bobby Deol as Baba Nirala, the godman who thinks he's God. The stunning actress Esha Gupta will be joining Deol this season to play a key part in the MX Player series.
Interestingly, the actress revealed that she manifested Aashram 3 after watching the first two seasons and had to convince the director to cast her in the show. Esha recently spoke about working on the series with Bobby Deol in an interview, calling it a "childhood dream."
Esha told the news outlet that she grew up watching Gupt (1997), Badal (2000), and that song from Kareeb (1998). She said, " I also remember dancing to ‘Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela’ at so many parties. When I met him the first time, he barely talked. But after we finished our scene, I told him about me dancing to his songs, and even did the step in front of him. He was laughing so much but I told him how it was a childhood dream to be working with him. Bobby is just so nice and humble and I am glad that he is finally getting recognition. He is so good-looking and talented but it took years for people to realise that."
Ek Badnaam... Aashram 3 is set to stream on MX Player on June 3 and is helmed by Prakash Jha.
