Jaane Jaan: Kareena Kapoor Is Flattered With ‘THIS’ Compliment, Says ‘It Is Wonderful …’ (Details Inside)

Kareena Kapoor Khan, the Bollywood actress, is on a roll! The actress has several intriguing projects in the works, including her film ‘Jaane Jaan’, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, which is now available on OTT. The film, which also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma, is based on the bestselling 2005 novel The Devotion of Suspect X by Japanese author Higashino Keigo. Kareena recently responded to being dubbed a 'hot padosan' in ‘Jaane Jaan’, saying it was a compliment. Today marks the 43rd birthday of the actress.

Kareena spoke with Film Companion on reinventing the concept of desirability in Hindi films. In response to the 'hot padosan' label bestowed upon her in ‘Jaane Jaan’, she stated that she enjoys her glamorous side and knows her followers do as well.

"It's a great time, I have two children, I'm a proud wife, proud homemaker, and mother," she remarked. I also enjoy my glitzy side, which I know my followers enjoy. And they've been so devoted. It makes no difference that I've been married and have two children. Age is but a number. I'm 43 years old. It's an exciting moment to work in film. And what about 'hot padosan'? I believe it's a wonderful compliment."

She went on to say that she hasn't hidden the fact that she is getting older. Despite popular belief, she claims that she does not over-edit her photographs. “Sometimes people say, ‘No, no, you should’. I’m like, ‘Some days I’m going to look tired, because I’m human, and my fans should know that.’ We’re not always going to be 20, and thank God for that; I don’t want to be 20. I’m having the time of my life, and I’m still the ‘hot padosan’,’ said Bebo.
