Khushi Kapoor along with Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda is set to make her debut in Bollywood with Zoya Akhtar’s much anticipated ‘The Archies’. The film is a Bollywood adaptation of a popular comic book. The entire Kapoor family including her sister Janhvi Kapoor are super excited for this debut. Janhvi recently spoke about her sister in an interview.
Janhvi Kapoor is now a well-known name in the industry with ‘Dhadak’, ‘Roohi’ and ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ in her filmography. As an actor in the industry, Janhvi has some wisdom to share with her sister. In a recent interview, she spoke about the work that Khushi Kapoor put in for her debut, saying "I am so happy and thrilled. I've seen my sister work tirelessly and work really hard and she's auditioning for this role. She wanted this so badly, I'm just so happy for her and I hope it goes well." She also spoke about how protective she is of Khushi, "If anyone says anything bad about her, all these trolls, I am gonna screw them up. I swear, I hate them.”
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor has the release of her new film ‘Good Luck Jerry’ which is a Siddharth Sengupta directorial and will hit the silver screen on 29th July. The actor is currently collaborating with Varun Dhawan for ‘Bawaal’ which is slated to release on April 7, the following year. Furthermore, Janhvi will star alongside Rajkummar Rao in ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’.
