Javed Akhtar reveals Farhan and Shibani’s wedding details
The couple is set to get married on February 21st.

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are making headlines as their marriage is just round the corner. The fans are very excited to see the couple get married, especially since there has been so much talk about it. Farhan’s father, poet, screenwriter, and political activist, Javed Akhtar, has revealed the details regarding the marriage.
In an interview with a publication, Javed Akhtar said that nothing could be done on a large scale, given the situation of the pandemic. He said, "Khair abhi tak toh invitations bhi nahi bheje gaye hai (We are yet to send out the invitations)." While talking about his soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Shibani Dandekar, Javed said that "she is a nice girl and the family loves her a lot." It is also known that Shibani has good relations with Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi.
The wedding will be a court marriage. The couple has filed an application in the month of January and the registration will take place on February 21 at either of their Bandra residences. The couple will also host an intimate celebration of their marriage at Javed Akhtar’s Khandala farmhouse, Sukoon. The celebration will be limited to close friends and family members only.
Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar first met on a TV show.
