A famous lyricist in the Indian film industry, Javed Akhtar, recently talked about the controversial night he spent with Kangana Ranaut at his house. He did this to put light on the fight between Kangana and Hrithik Roshan, which has been going on for a while. Kangana said that Javed Akhtar had made her feel scared and forced her to apologise to Hrithik Roshan.

In 2014, rumours spread that Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan had been having an affair but things didn't go well and that took up a different route and that was the start of their fight. But the problem got worse, especially from Kangana's point of view. She kept making fun of Hrithik, so in 2016, he sued her for defamation and asked her to apologise in public for what she had said about their supposed affair. In 2020, Kangana said that Javed Akhtar had threatened her and told her that she should apologise to Hrithik because of how powerful they were in the business.

At a court meeting in Mumbai's Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate court, Javed Akhtar explained what happened the night Kangana came to his house. He told her that it wasn't him who wanted to talk to her, but a friend of theirs called Dr. Ramesh Agarwal. Javed said that he didn't know Kangana at the time and that he had nothing to do with her fight with Hrithik. He said, "It's true that I didn't know Kangana, and I have nothing to do with Hrithik's current scandal. But Kangana got a phone call from Dr. Agarwal, who was close to her. He could call her and make her meet up with him."

Javed Akhtar said that Kangana didn't want to hear what he had to say, so she and her older sister, Rangoli, left his house. He denied that Kangana was upset with what he said by saying that, even though she wanted to leave, she was polite at the meeting. In two weeks, Javed's secretary will be called as a witness to give more information in court.

In a different interview with PTI, Javed Akhtar said that Kangana knew exactly what was going to be talked about at the meeting. He made it clear that the goal was not to force Kangana to do what he wanted, but to look for ways to solve the problem. Javed said, "I told her about the meeting's plans when we talked on the phone. Didn't call her to talk about the weather, politics, or the 2016 election in the United States."
