Jawan: Did SRK's Film Release With Several Cuts? Fans Hope To See The Uncut Version On OTT

‘Jawan’ is stealing hearts at the box office. The film, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara, was released on September 7th. Since then, it has been steadily ascending the success ladder, adding to its box office collection. ‘Jawan’ earned over Rs 300 crores at the box office in just 5 days. Now, the Atlee film is aiming for Rs 500 crore at the box office. Meanwhile, fans have been debating what scenes from the upcoming film are missing. ‘Jawan’ has several deleted moments that they believe would be included in the OTT version.

In the forum BollyBlindsNGossip, a Reddit member submitted an image from ‘Jawan’ and discussed the prospect of having a scene removed. Soon after, another user posted a screenshot and mentioned having parts removed from the final version of the new film. The first image is of Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara. The expression appears to be Vikram's, as Nayanthara's Narmada looks on warmly. Fans debated it till another pointed out that Vikram appeared to be sleeping.

Another still from ‘Jawan’ that was mentioned was of Nayanthara sitting amongst children. She appears to be part of a song or to be enjoying a performance. The actress wears a yellow saree. Fans are disappointed that some sequences from the film have been cut.

Soon after, people started debating ‘Jawan's’ true uncut duration. According to an Atlee fan, his films are normally around 5 hours long. According to one user, the original edit of ‘Jawan’ was roughly 3.5 hours long. Fans started talking about how they planned to see the 4-hour-long film on OTT as well. Demands for an Atlee cut, a separate cut from the theatrical version, have also been made.

‘Jawan’ has practically caused a box office tsunami. The film has exceeded the Rs 300 crore mark in just 5 days. In terms of global box office, ‘Jawan’, starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, has earned approximately Rs 550 crores. ‘Jawan’ passed the Monday exam with flying colours, allowing him to join the Rs 300 crore club. The film has been making headlines in the entertainment industry for all the right reasons.
