Jawan: Here’s How Shah Rukh Khan Was Able To Nail The Double Roles! REVEALS Body Duplicate Prashant Walde As He Shares BTS Clip (Watch Video)

With the success of his most recent film, ‘Jawan’, which had a record-breaking opening weekend at the box office, Shah Rukh Khan is back on the big screen with a bang. The project broke all prior opening day collecting records in history and served as Tamil filmmaker Atlee's Bollywood debut. For those who are unaware, Shah Rukh Khan made a long-awaited double appearance in Jawan, which is currently poised to become one of his all-time biggest box office successes.

In a recent interview, Prashant Walde, who has served as Shah Rukh Khan's body duplicate for the past 17 years, discussed how they captured the popular actor's many different personas for Atlee's film. Additionally, he posted an intriguing BTS video from the ‘Jawan’ set to his official Instagram account.

So, what did Prashant say about SRK?

The body double shared some amusing anecdotes regarding the mass action movie's Vikram Rathore and Azad Rathore scenes that Shah Rukh Khan played in tandem.

"There is a scene in the film where Shah Rukh is hugging his look-alike father. A very interesting incident happened here during the shoot. When he was in a young getup, I was in the form of old Shah Rukh. Whereas, when he became old, I had to take the getup of young," Prashant shared in the interview.

"Only his close-up shot can be done with the camera. Shah Rukh Khan’s looks in this film were quite different, due to which we had to prepare daily. Only two looks were shot in a day," added the body double.

About ‘Jawan’:

The focus of the Atlee-directed film is on Azad Rathore, a vigilante, and his father Vikram Rathore, a former commando in the Indian army. Nayanthara, a leading lady in South Asian cinema, made her Bollywood debut in Jawan opposite SRK. She plays the tough officer Narmada Rai in the movie. As Vikram's wife and Azad's mother, Aishwarya Rathore, played by Deepika Padukone, she makes a brief cameo appearance.

In the movie, which also stars Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Yogi Babu, Sunil Grover, Riddhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Eijaz Khan, and others in supporting parts, Vijay Sethupathi plays the main antagonist, Kaalie Gaikwad. Red Chillies Entertainment-funded ‘Jawan’. The movie also features cameos from veteran Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and filmmaker Atlee himself.
