T-Series has acquired the rights to the next film starring Shah Rukh Khan for a hefty sum. If you didn't hear, the music industry behemoth paid an astounding Rs 36 crore for the music rights to Atlee Kumar's next film, which also has Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in key parts.

Following is a list of films with massive music rights deals, including ‘Pushpa 2’, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, ‘RRR’, ‘Leo, ‘Brahmastra’, and more.

According to recent reports, Bhushan Kumar's T-Series successfully bid on the soundtrack of Jawan and paid an astounding Rs 36 crore for it. While this sum will undoubtedly surpass the earnings of the next Shah Rukh Khan flick, numerous other Indian films have achieved music revenue double this amount. One movie on this list in particular has grossed an astounding Rs 220 crore (including digital rights).

Adipurush, directed by Om Raut and starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in key parts, is one of the most contentious and news-making movies in recent memory. Unfortunately, information on the amount that this film's soundtrack earned is not available because its producer, T-Series, still owns the music rights to this much-trolled work.

According to reports, Varisu, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna, made a respectable Rs 5 crore after T Series acquired the film's all-language music rights. The same website claims that Mani Ratnam's PS:1 made Rs 25 crore when Tips Music acquired the audio rights to the historical action movie starring Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, and Karthi.

SS Rajamouli's Academy Award-winning film RRR reportedly made the same amount of money from its music as PS:1. The soundtrack rights to the Ram Charan-Jr NTR movie were purchased by Lahari soundtrack and T-Series for Rs 25 crore. The audio rights to Ranbir Kapoor's film Brahmashtra were sold for roughly Rs 30 crore, according to reports.

It was stated that when T-Series purchased the global music rights (all languages, including international) and the Hindi satellite TV rights, Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule made between Rs 50 and Rs 60 crore. According to the same website, the audio rights to the Yash-starring film KGF: Chapter 2 were also sold to Bhushan Kumar's music label and Lahari Music for a staggering sum of Rs 72 crore.

And here it is, the movie, which has raked in a staggering Rs 220 crore. According to recent media reports, the digital and soundtrack rights of Lokesh Kanagaraj's film Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay, have been sold for an astounding ten-digit sum.
