Jaya Bachchan says, Shweta ‘manages’ to make everything about herself; Here’s how Shweta answered to Jaya!
The final epsiode of Navya Naveli Nanda's podcast, What The Hell Navya, included her mother Shweta Bachchan and grandmother Jaya Bachchan. Navya questioned them about their favourite aspects of the podcast in the episode, which was made available on Saturday. Shweta said she enjoyed hearing her mother and daughter compliment her on the podcast as they talked about their trip. Shweta always "manages" to make everything about herself, Jaya said. In response to her mother, Shweta replied,“It can’t just be about you guys all the time…”

Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan responded to Navya Naveli Nanda's inquiry about her favourite segment of the podcast What The Hell Navya by saying,“I like all of it… I like the beginning and I like the parenting part.” Shweta referred to her favourite part as, “My favourite part of the podcast is when my mother says very nice things about me that I have not heard in four decades... that was my favourite part, when you both (Jaya and Navya) praised me. I love it.”
Jaya Bachchan replied to her daughter's remark by saying,“Shweta, you always manage to get the… the light has to be on her. Even when the whole family is talking, sab ghoom phir ke (when all is said and done), some conversation she’ll bring, and in the end (be like) ‘but, I you know…’”
Shweta acknowledged Jaya's assertion and defended herself by providing an explanation of why she "always brings a topic back to something about herself." She stated:“My friends make fun of me, they say it’s a unique talent because no matter what the topic is, ‘she can always bring it back to something about her’. Because listen, if I am going to be the only non-public facing actor in this family, some attributes I also have to imbibe right? It can’t just be about you guys all the time. It has to be a little bit about me also.” Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter is Shweta Bachchan.
In the same podcast episode, Navya also revealed that when she sensed "tensions rising" at home, her "mamu (uncle)," Abhishek Bachchan, "usually played some house tech music." In recent months, Jaya and Shweta have joined Navya on her podcast where they have also been revealing information about their personal lives and relationships.
