Jee Karda: Tamannaah Bhatia Spills Beans On Her BOLD Decision To Perform STEAMY SCENES In The Movie; Says, ‘Shame Around It Is Slowly Wearing Away..’

One of the well-known actresses in the South Asian film business is Tamannaah Bhatia. The actress is currently working gently but surely to establish herself in the Hindi cinema industry as well. However, the actress faced intense criticism for performing daring scenes in her most recent web series, ‘Jee Karda’.

Many of her followers expressed their displeasure with the actress and noted that she had violated her rule not to portray personal scenes on film. A few people also questioned Tamannaah about her decision to disregard the rule. The actress now explains why she is at last prepared to perform intimate scenes.

Talking about ‘Lust Stories’ Season 1, Tamannaah Bhatia said it was a surprise that altered her viewpoint on on-screen intimacy and how viewers saw it. “It really gave me the power as a female actor and as just an audience that people want to watch these stories,” she said.

The four-part anthology ‘Lust Stories’ was directed by Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar, and Anurag Kashyap for the unversed. 2018 saw the release of the anthology on Netflix. The shorts' central theme is lust, and their portrayal of it is audacious.

“The taboo and shame around it are slowly wearing away because we are moving with the times, and everyone is evolving. I remember everyone that I knew had watched it, and everyone seemed to have enjoyed it,” Tamannaah Bhatia said.

Such situations are scripted, so Tamannaah compares them to scenes where she is eating or performing stunts. “The entire process actually demystified so many things for me as a person and as an actor. It was very much needed for an actor like myself to present a side to the audience that they haven’t seen of me. I was so hungry to show people that I am an actor and I can do anything,” she said.
