Kangana Ranaut speaks about why she never did item numbers or fairness cream ads
Kangana Ranaut is certainly one of Bollywood’s most talked-about stars, who is frequently in the spotlight due to her promising acting abilities or outspoken views. The Queen is not afraid to express her views, and she has shown in the past that she values her principles and ethics. Kangana Ranaut recently spoke to the press about her views on item numbers and why she avoids them.
Ranaut said how careful she was before accepting a few offers. She mentioned how she has never done any item numbers before, as well as her thoughts on fairness cream endorsements. “I worked hard for 10 years, aisa nahi hai ki mujhe ye cheeze bother nahi karti thi. Mene kabhi item number nahi kiye. Mene Kabhi fairness creams nahi ki. Mene koi bhi aisi cheez nahi ki uss daruan jisse aaj mujhe compromise karna pade,” said the actress.
Kangana Ranaut described how she built a safety net for herself in the early years. She stated that she has reached a point in the profession where she can take a stand. She went on to say that she had never become engaged with any label or act for which she could now have to compromise.
For the uninitiated, Kangana Ranaut's latest film, Dhaakad (2022), was released on the 20th of this month to mixed reviews. Although most critics were unsatisfied with the final result, audiences praised Ranaut's performance in the film. The film, however, failed to do good business at the box office.
