Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri calls himself and Kartik Aaryan ‘small town outsiders’: fans say ‘cast him already’

With the success of his most recent movie, "The Kashmir Files," Vivek Agnihotri has been enjoying himself. Fans received a treat earlier today when the director Vivek Agnihotri shared two pictures with who is possibly Bollywood's greatest celebrity at the moment on his Twitter. The director shared pictures with Kartik Aaryan, the leading man in Hindi cinema.

Sharing the pictures, Vivek wrote the caption, ‘Two small town, middle-class, outsiders from Gwalior who made it on their own terms. If you are a young Indian, be inspired by a down-to-earth, rooted, and exceptionally talented kartikaaryan.’ Kartik and Vivek were smiling for the camera. In one of the images, the duo can also be seen giving the victor's salute. Vivek looked good in his black tee, while Kartik looked as sharp as ever in his white tee and checkered shirt.

Reacting to the post a fan wrote, "Next picture main cast Karlo Kartik ko". A person also wrote, "Most successful filmmaker and most successful filmstar of 2022."  Another user commented, “I hope something big happens haha. Hope to see him in your movies.” The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri and starring Anupam Kher, was the only other movie to able to draw an equivalent amount of interest in theatres besides Karthik Aaryan's masala blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which ruled supreme in Bollywood.

Meanwhile, Kartik will co-star with Kriti Sanon in Rohit Dhawan's Shehzada, the movie is slated to hit theatres on February 10, 2023. Additionally, he is working on Hansal Mehta's Captain India, Satya Prem Ki Katha starring Kiara Advani, and Freddy with Alaya F.
