Katrina Kaif most likely opposite Kartik Aaryan in Kabir Khan's next
A short while back, we had reported that Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif are the two actresses being considered to play the female lead in Kabir Khan's next starring Kartik Aaryan. And from what we hear now, it is Kat who is most likely to romance Aaryan onscreen.
The yet-to-be-titled film will be bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala who is going through a rough patch as a producer after the debacle of several of his films like Tadap, Bachchan Pandey and Heropanti 2
“After a stream of flops, Sajid is looking to change his fortunes with Kartik Aaryan, the current Midas of the box office. Either Katrina Kaif or Deepika Padukone is likely to be cast opposite Kartik. Katrina is a close friend of director Kabir Khan and she is likely to bag the role,” a source close to the project revealed.
As per reports, the film will be a soldier story with Kartik playing the titular role.
On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan will next star in a remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020), titled Shehzada and in Shashanka Ghosh's romantic thriller Freddy.
He has also committed to star in Om Raut's as-yet untitled action film and in the Sajid Nadiadwala-produced romance saga Satyanarayan Ki Katha. Besides, Aaryan will also collaborate with Hansal Mehta in the social drama Captain India, in which he will play an airforce officer.
