Kannada actor Yash gained widespread recognition in the film business as a result of the phenomenal success of "KGF: Chapter One" and "KGF: Chapter 2." At the box office across the nation, the movie broke all previous records. Naturally, a lot of filmmakers are eager to work with him on their films. Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Part One Shiva has just left one significant unanswered issue for the entire audience: who will play Dev in the movie's sequel? Yash, the actor of KGF, has reportedly been approached to portray Dev in Brahmastra 2, contrary to previous rumors that Ranveer Singh is likely to be cast in the role.
Yash to play Dev opposite Deepika Padukone in Brahmastra’s sequel?
A source close to Yash informed, “He is offered the role of the strong character of Dev in an epic tale of contemporary mythology. The two merely offer merely offers from two parties, and Yash hasn't yet approved of either one of them. Like every other project, this one is on the list of positions that KGF is offering, and he will decide by January 2023, or otherwise.”
The star has also been offered a role in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Karna. The source also revealed, “After KGF 2, Excel wishes to collaborate with Yash once more on a large project. For the mythological epic Karna, which is based on the Mahabharata, they have joined forces with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The two-part epic's producers, ROMP and Excel, are eager to cast Yash in the title role.”
Other names, including Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan, have also been circulating around the media of them playing Dev in Brahmastra's Part Two. The creators have yet to officially confirm any of the rumors. Additionally, it has been reported that Deepika Padukone would most likely play Arpita, also known as Ranbir Kapoor's mother, in Brahmastra 2. Yet, no formal confirmation has been made till far.
