Actor Vidyut Jammwal has been in the industry for more than ten years and has made a name for himself as one of the most in-demand action actors in Indian cinema, a place he refers to as his happy place. The actor-martial artist, who is well known for his roles in the Commando and Khuda Haafiz movie series, thinks that being positioned to do something one excels at is challenging.
He said, “I'm happy to be defined by action. I feel proud of being typecast. It's not an easy place to be in when you get typecast for being the best at what you do. For me, it's always been either fighting for the country in Commando or going and saving the animals in Junglee, as nobody does it. In Khuda Hafiz, it's about a common man who has never been in a fight."
Further, Vidyut revealed how he chooses his script, he elaborated, “My philosophy in life is that I want to do things which make me fearful or scared. I want to confront that fear. I imply the same while choosing films.” Vidyut plays a regular guy fighting against injustice in both sections of Khuda Hafiz, which Faruk Kabir wrote and directed.
Meanwhile, IB71, which also represents Vidyut Jammwal's entry into film production, is next on his schedule. He will also feature in the flick Sher Singh Raana which will have an OTT release.
