Salman started this year with a bang as he played a cameo in this year’s highest-grossing film ‘Pathaan’ alongside the lead star Shah Rukh Khan. He played Tiger from his ‘Tiger’ franchise. The actor has a lot of films up for release including the biggest film of the year, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ which is headed for an Eid release this year. Now as we wait for the release of this film, there is another piece of good news coming in. It is reported that Salman is returning for the sequel of his film ‘Kick’.
‘Kick 2’ on cards?
Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala are rumored to be reuniting more than a year after their spat over Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. This time, for Kick 2, which also marks the latter's comeback to directing. In addition, at the request of his actor-pal, the producer made his directing debut with Kick (2014). Industry sources claim the subject of the sequel has been finalized, and work on the screenplay is begun.
Furthermore, Salman and Sajid's friendship and fraternity date back three decades and are unaffected by arguments over a film. They had put their issues aside within months of Salman beginning production on Farhad Samji's directorial debut under his own banner. While Kick was released in theatres on Eid nine years ago, it remains to be seen whether the sequel will be released over the holiday season next year. Still, it's heartening to learn that the friends have collaborated on a project that is important to both of them.
‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’
Salman Khan’s most awaited flick ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ which is helmed by Farhad Samji is scheduled for Eid 2023 release. The film will see a huge ensemble of many lead stars including Venkatesh Daggubati, Shehnaaz Gill, Bhumika Chawla, Palak Tiwari, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Vijendra Singh, Jassie Gill, others. Pooja Hegde will be seen as the female lead opposite Salman in the film.
