The original 'Kick,' with which Nadiadwala began his directing career, was described as his favourite piece of intellectual property and cherished pet project. He noted the intense excitement that 'Kick' always generates, enthralling both the media and the entertainment business. To achieve a timely release, the director stressed the value of perseverance and the necessity of a large-scale production.
Nadiadwala further explained in an interview with Pinkvilla, "The subject is already on paper, entirely written, but it requires time. To start 'Kick 2,' we need to see a rise in moviegoer attendance. Audiences have shown a preference for accessing material through OTT platforms rather than conventional movie theatres as the pandemic continues to have an impact on the economy. Producers have faced difficult hurdles as a result of this transformation, thus Nadiadwala decided to hold off on starting 'Kick 2'.until the movie going culture had recovered.
Evidently, Nadiadwala has already written the script for the eagerly awaited sequel and has even sent Salman Khan himself a copy of the narration. His main objective is to rekindle fan enthusiasm for theatrical releases, which will create a buzz that will make it easier to plan the development of 'Kick 2.' In light of the current uncertainty, Nadiadwala emphasised the importance of a memorable cinematic experience to get consumers back into theatres.
Despite the fact that certain films have found success on OTT platforms, many fans still long for the best films because they have access to so much diverse content. "We cannot afford complacency; we must provide an exceptional cinematic experience," Nadiadwala emphasised. Our labour should respect their precious time while also compensating them for their investment. The highest level of quality will be sought after by audiences, who will not be satisfied with 'good' or 'okay' entertainment.
Along with the 'Kick' series, Nadiadwala recently revealed 'Housefull 5' and is promoting the next movie 'Chandu Champion,' which is being directed by Kabir Khan and stars Kartik Aaryan.
The anticipation for the start of production of 'Kick 2', which will bring back the exhilarating action and entertainment they have long wanted, keeps growing among Salman Khan fans.
