It's been a while since Salman Khan starred in a major motion picture. After an absence of three years since Dabangg 3, the superstar has returned with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film's release during the joyous holiday of Eid ensures its success as a hot commodity in theatres.
After Dabangg 3, Salman did make a few movie appearances in Antim, Godfather, and Pathaan, but they were all brief cameos. His full-fledged role was in the OTT original film Radhe. Now that the actor is returning to his role as the protagonist after a long absence, excitement is building, and it looks like the show will get off to a roaring start.
A film's trailer plays a crucial role in creating anticipation for its release. The Bholaa trailer failed to live up to the hype generated by the two teasers, and audiences had mixed reviews for the film itself. The trailer for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has successfully increased anticipation since it delivers the sort of Salman Khan performance that audiences have come to anticipate.

The first time people heard about Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, it was for all the wrong reasons. It was the rumours that Salman Khan had ghost-directed the movie or that producer Sajid Nadiadwala had dropped out that helped propel the film into the public consciousness. The song Naiyo Lagda was also initially subjected to vicious trolling. But other songs, notably Naiyo Lagda, caught on with the public and is doing well, and now the trailer has helped more.
The trailer for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is well-edited and contains all the necessary commercial aspects, setting it apart from those of Salman Khan's prior flicks. Drama, a taste of great action sequences, some laughs, and, of course, the ruthless and 'shirtless' Salman persona are all present. In addition, it has the added bonus of being released around Eid. It is likely that it will have a higher opening than Dabangg 3 ($24.50 million), which puts it anywhere between 23 and 26 crore.
