Koffee With Karan 7: Samantha Ruth Prabhu denies rumours of demanding ₹250 crores alimony from ex-husband Naga Chaitanya
After four years of a happy marriage, Samantha's divorce a few months ago shocked both her fans and the film industry. Due to the Majili (2019) actress being open about her relationship on social media, she was the focus of many online trolls and the subject of false rumours.
Samantha has finally spoken out about the viral alimony rumour roughly nine months after she announced her divorce. She made an appearance on Koffee with Karan in the sixth season and shared numerous facts about her present circumstances as well as her past struggles.
When Karan Johar questioned the actress about the worst article about herself or her favourite troll, she responded, “that I took Rs 250 crore in alimony." She added, “Every morning I woke up waiting for income tax officials to show them there's nothing. First they made up the story about alimony. Then they realised it doesn't seem like a believable story, " Samantha added. "Then they said there's a prenup, so she can't ask for alimony."
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen in a number of projects including Yashoda, Shaakuntalam and Kushi. She will also be seen in the Hindi remake of Citadel alongside Varun Dhawan and she is also in talks for a Bollywood film alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.
