Celebrating two decades of cinematic brilliance, ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ made a triumphant return to theaters in 30 cities on August 4. Helmed by director Rakesh Roshan, the film initially graced the big screen on August 8, 2003. This science-fiction marvel resonated deeply with audiences across generations, thanks to its exceptional thematic concept, heartfelt narrative, and captivating character dynamics. Amidst this tapestry, it was Rohit Mehra who emerged as the spotlight-stealer, with Hrithik Roshan masterfully portraying the character. Presently, Hrithik has unveiled the intriguing journey behind discovering the distinctive voice of Rohit Mehra.

In a candid interview with Film Companion, Hrithik Roshan revisited the process of embodying the persona of Rohit, particularly finding the character's voice during an emotional crying scene. He told the portal, “When I was crying as Rohit, There was a certain (makes crying sound) voice that came out and that became..A bit of that became Rohit’s normal voice. So it came from a cry, and I kind of like took it from there and then tried and rehearsed talking with that same. The vocal cords go lower because It's actually a cry. He talks like that, but it does not sound like a cry anymore when you do it."
