KWK 7: Ananya Panday reacts to getting trolled says, ’I don’t know what I did so wrong to hurt or offend people’

One of the most popular talk shows Koffee with Karan had the south superstar Vijay Deverakonda and Bollywood star Ananya Panday in its fourth episode as guests. Vijay and Ananya are going to appear on-screen together for the very first time in their upcoming film Liger. Ananya who was featured for the second time on Karan’s Koffee couch did give out some brewing statements and honestly answered Karan’s questions. On the couch, Karan brought up the subject of nepotism. The actress continued by discussing the vicious criticism she has had since entering the profession since she is Chunky Panday's daughter.

Ananya revealed about getting trolled and how it would affect her by saying, “Of course, it takes a toll on me. I can’t sit here and pretend I’m happy or I’m very strong and I can deal with everything because I think as a 19-year-old when you’re constantly told that you’re ugly or you’re flat chested or you look a certain way or insult my parents or my sister, it gets a little scary and gets a little sad sometimes because I am like what did I do so wrong you know. Because I try to be a kind, nice person, I work very hard. I am very sincere about my work. I love acting. As far as I can remember, I wanted to be an actor so sometimes I am just like I’m just a girl trying to do my job. I don’t know what I did so wrong to hurt or offend people. But I also can understand where people are coming from and that’s ok.”

Liger will also mark Vijay Deverakonda’s debut in Bollywood and Ananya Panday’s debut in the South. Earlier this month, the film’s first song Akdi Pakdi was released which has been on the top charts and has got fans grooving to it. Vijay and Ananya’s amazing chemistry is pretty visible in both the song and trailer. Liger is slated to release in theatres on August 25, 2022. The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil. Meanwhile, Ananya Panday also has Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.
