Laal Singh Chaddha: Nagarjuna heaps praise as he shares his thoughts on his son Naga Chaitanya’s debut film

Due to its intense promotion and biggies' unwavering backing, Aamir Khan's next movie Laal Singh Chaddha has been making quite a stir in the South. Earlier this week, a special screening of Laal Singh Chaddha was held in Hyderabad. Nagarjuna, SS Rajamouli, and Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is presenting the Telugu version attended the event. After seeing the movie, Telugu superstar Nagarjuna took to Twitter to share his thoughts on it while also praising his son Naga Chaitanya, who is making his Bollywood debut with this movie.

He wrote, “Had the privilege of watching Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. A breath of fresh air! A film that goes more than surface deep. A film that stirs you from within!! Makes you laugh, cry, and ponder!! It comes with a simple message: love and innocence conquer all!! Was wonderful to watch Naga Chaitanya grow as an actor. Director Advait Chandan, writer Atul Kulkarni and the team just lift our spirits up!! (sic)”

Naga Chaitanya plays Laal's closest friend Balraju in the movie. Chaitanya recently discussed his relationship with his famous father Nagarjuna in an interview. When asked if there is any chance to see the father-son duo collaborate for a Hindi film next? “You guys should put out some scripts, of course, we would love to do something.”

Nagarjuna also has a Bollywood film up for release next month. The actor stars in the film Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Meanwhile, Laal Singh Chaddha, which is directed by Advait Chandan and written by Atul Kulkarni, is the Hindi adaptation of the classic Forrest Gump movie starring Tom Hanks. Laal Singh Chaddha, which is slated to premiere in theatres on August 11 this year, also has Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh in pivotal roles.
