The most eagerly anticipated film right now is Liger, and its premiere date is quickly approaching. South sensation Vijay Deverakonda will be making his Bollywood debut alongside Ananya Panday. Aafat, the most recent single, has caught the attention of internet users despite the favourable reception the movie has gotten since its announcement. Even though the song was just released last week, many are criticising the writers for including dialogue from rape scenes in the song.

The creators of Liger released their third song, Aafat, which features Vijay Devarakonda and Ananya Panday, following the releases of Akdi Pakdi and Waat Laga Denge. Even though it has been available for more than a week, internet users are criticising the creators for the lyrics. The song is being referred to as cringe by Reddit users, and not just for one part. The sequence from the classic Bollywood film "Bhagwaan ke liye mujhe chhodh do" that is drawing criticism is the one where the female lead is about to be raped.

Sharing the song, a Reddit user wrote, “Liger song Aafat using a r*pe scene dialogue from old movies for.. aesthetics? Idk.” Another netizen wrote, "It’s repulsive and shows extreme lack of sensibility by the producers, actors, and of course the scum director."

Meanwhile, Liger, directed by Puri Jagannadh is slated to release on August 25.
