Liger Trailer Launch: Ranveer Singh nit-picks Vijay Deverakonda for wearing chappals at the launch event and further calls him an ‘object of lust’

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday were the stars of the evening as they arrived for their film Liger’s trailer launch in Mumbai. Ananya looked gorgeous in a black outfit. As per usual, Ranveer Singh stood out in fashionable clothing. Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur were also seen attending the event. But Vijay Deverakonda chose to keep it casual, still he looked handsome. Vijay wore a black t-shirt with the word "The" in capital letters, beige cargo pants, and white chappals.
Ranveer who noticed Vijay’s chappals funnily teased him for wearing them and even compared him to John Abraham, who too has been spotted in chappals at events. He said, “Look at my brother's style, it looks like he has come to my trailer launch instead of me coming to his trailer launch. After John Abraham, the only person to show chappal style and swag is THE (referring to the word written on Vijay’s T-shirt)”
Vijay Deverakonda was also referred to as an object of lust by Ranveer Singh, who appeared as the special guest at the launch. Hinting toward Sara Ali Khan’s statement on Koffee with Karan, Ranveer said, "Speaking of lust, the object of lust, sir we have found out on your blockbuster talk show ki ‘the’ ki kitni demand hai North India mein (the demand for Vijay in North India).'"
Ranveer, Vijay, and Ananya were also seen grooving to the beats of their song Akdi Pakdi from the film. This film will also mark Vijay Deverakonda’s debut in Bollywood. Liger is slated to release in theatres on August 25, 2022. The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil.
