Liger Trailer: Vijay Deverakonda, Ramya Krishnan, and Ananya Panday are here to bring you to the edge of your seats
The much-anticipated trailer of the sports drama Liger, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, is now released. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the movie's trailer features numerous battle scenes with Vijay, who plays an MMA fighter. But because he has trouble speaking, he gets mocked, and only seldom does he roar when it's necessary, and Ananya plays his love interest.
But in the eyes of the viewers, Ramya Krishnan's acting skills were what really stole the show. She portrays Vijay Deverakonda's mother in the teaser, as a strong, courageous woman who will do anything for her son. Her brief cameos in the teaser as Vijay's mother left the spectators giddy with anticipation to see the film, which also stars Vasuki Vaibhav and Rao in significant parts. Ronit Roy will be seen playing the role of Vijay’s coach in the film. In a noteworthy cameo, Mike Tyson is seen challenging Vijay’s Liger. There are scenes of how Liger represents his nation in MMA fights as well.
Liger will also mark Vijay Deverakonda’s debut in Bollywood and Ananya Panday’s debut in the South. Earlier this month, the film’s first song Akdi Pakdi was released which has been on the top charts and has got fans grooving to it. Vijay and Ananya’s amazing chemistry is pretty visible in both the song and trailer. Liger is slated to release in theatres on August 25, 2022. The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil.
