Maarrich: Audience to choose the ending of Tusshar Kapoor’s next film; here’s why
The director of Tusshar Kapoor's upcoming movie Maarrich claims that many endings were shot and that the decision as to which one would be utilised will be made based on audience reactions during promotions.

The makers of Tusshar Kapoor's comeback movie Maarrich are starting a novel experiment for the movie's promotional campaign. The team behind the thriller will ultimately decide which of the multiple endings will be included in the theatrical cut based on audience reactions during the publicity campaign.
Earlier this week, the Maarrich trailer was made available. In it, Tusshar plays a police officer searching for a violent killer. In a statement released on Wednesday, the film's creators admitted that given the plot's structure and open-endedness, they had to film every possible conclusion. Depending on how viewers react to the movie over the next two weeks, one of the endings will be utilised in the final cut.
Director Dhruv Lathe discusses this and says,“We wanted to keep the audiences glued till the end of the film. We wanted them to guess and let them feel they are right and then suddenly we would blow them with a twist. Hence, we decided to shoot multiple endings to increase the intrigue and curiosity level even more.”
Actor Tusshar, who plays the title role, adds “We decided to shoot multiple endings to increase the suspense level in the film, we are yet to choose the final one as our aim is to surprise the audiences and give them something they didn’t expect at all.”

Tusshar plays senior cop Rajiv Dixit in the movie, who is looking into the killings of two young girls. He comes across several suspects, all of whom have a dark side.The film's marketing strategy up to this point has definitely been creative. Before this, the film's creators had turned to a viral social media campaign centred on a "Hatman" to raise awareness of the picture.
Seerat Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah play important roles in the Dhruv Lather film. Seerat makes her Bollywood debut with this movie. The movie is backed by Tusshar Kapoor, Narendra Hirawat, and Shreyans Hirawat, with Girish Johar and Priyank V Jain serving as co-producers. On December 9, the film premieres in theaters.
