Mahesh Bhatt skips the private screening of Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’; he wants to watch the film with the audience

Mahesh Bhatt skips the private screening of Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’; he wants to watch the film with the audience

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor as leads of the film ‘Brahmastra’ are awaiting its release which is in just a few days. The Ayan Mukerji directorial will hit the big screens on the 9th of September. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in the lead. There even is a special cameo from Shah Rukh Khan.

Mahesh Bhatt’s plans for the film

Alia Bhatt’s father Mahesh Bhatt plans to view the film with the public. A source close to the family shared, "Mr Bhatt plans to go and watch the film with the audience. He has decided to buy a ticket and watch this special film on his own and not at an industry or private screening. He wants to experience the film with the people." Mahesh Bhatt after nineteen years returned to wear his director hat in the film ‘Sadak 2’ in 2020, starring Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt. 

About the film 

‘Brahmastra: Part One– Shiva’ is produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures. It will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. This film marks the third collaboration between Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor.
