Malaika Arora on dating Arjun Kapoor, a man 12 years younger than her
Malaika Arora is known for speaking her mind. In the beginning, she did try to keep mum about her relationship with Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor, but once the couple made their relationship Instagram-official, both have been quite open about the fact that they are together.
They have also spoken about the criticism and trolling that they face on a regular basis simply because there is a certain age difference between the two. Arora is 12 years younger than Kapoor. She found love again after ending her 17 years long marriage with actor Arbaaz Khan. This has rattled many misogynists on social media.
In a recent interview with a publication, Malaika Arora opened up on finding love again after divorce. “It is very important for women to have a life after a breakup or a divorce,” she said.
The actress went on to add, “There is a misogynist approach to female relationships. It is often considered a sacrilege for a woman to date a younger man.”
Arora added that she is a reflection of her mother. “I am a reflection of my mother, as I embody her strength and grit, and mirror her life subconsciously. She always told me to live life on my terms and be independent,” she concluded.
