Malavika Mohanan responds to rumours of joining Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali
Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, starring Salman Khan, has been making news for its cast. Following Aayush Sharma's exit from the project, Jassie Gill and Siddharth Nigam were said to have joined the cast. Now, the makers have reportedly approached Malayalam actress Malavika Mohanan, as per recent reports.
The Pattam Pole (2013) actress, however, has recently clarified rumours about her joining the Salman Khan-led film on her Twitter handle. Denying all the reports, she tweeted, “False article. Not true”. “Putting it out here as a lot of people have been asking me if I’m doing this."
Farhad Samji is helming Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which stars Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde. Venkatesh Daggubati, Jassie Gill and Siddharth Nigam also play key roles. Bigg Boss fame Shehnaaz Gill will be making her Bollywood debut with this film.
Salman shared his first look from the flick earlier this month when he began filming. He was seen holding a rod in his hand that covered his face. The Dabangg (2010) actor was also seen sporting long hair.
Malavika Mohanan made her acting debut in the South film industry with the Malayalam film, Pattam Pole (2013) alongside Dulquer Salmaan. She is currently anticipating the release of Yudhra, her upcoming Bollywood film. She will be seen alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi in the film.
