Despite having only three films to his credit, Mari Selvaraj has already established his own distinctive filmmaking style. His first two films were not only huge commercial triumphs but also received a lot of critical acclaim. People have been seduced into the worlds he creates because his films typically have overtly political undertones.
But few people are aware of the fact that he is a rabid admirer of Thalapathy Vijay. In addition, he told the actor a tale, and people eagerly anticipating the results of their partnership would undoubtedly be interested in hearing Vijay's response.
Thalapathy Vijay's response when the Pariyerum Perumal director told him a story was Enna Sir (What sir?). The director went on to say that this response from the actor could have been caused by the fact that he had read the screenplay as a director rather than a fanboy.
It would be intriguing to see whether there is a successful partnership between the two since they are both among the most influential voices in the current Tamil movie landscape. Both of them are political, and since the Azhagiya Tamizh Magan actor has frequently voiced a desire to enter politics, it would be fascinating to watch whether this partnership materialises and what the outcome would be.

Mari Selavaraj's films have consistently stayed true to reality, while Vijay comes from a very commercial background. Thus, their collaboration would be a whole new route for actor Vijay.
For the longest time, there have been rumours circulating that Thalapathy Vijay is determined to pursue politics and that his next movie, Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo, will be his last. Venkat Prabhu is the director of this movie, Thalapathy 68.
If that is the case, Selvaraj and Vijay, the director and actor duo, would not be available for us to see.
