May 2023 OTT Releases: Binge Watch ‘THESE’ Films And Web Series In This Month

The month of May 2023 has just begun, and all OTT platforms are prepared to debut some of the most eagerly awaited films and web series. You will witness some of the most eagerly awaited and talked-about debuts this month, including Sonakshi Sinha's. The following five OTT releases to watch for in May 2023 are:

XO KITTY

A spin-off of the film series To All the Boys, also known as To All the Boys I've Loved Before, named ‘Xo Kitty’ is currently available on Netflix. The main character of the novel, Kitty, merely wants to be in a fulfilling romantic relationship and strongly believes in love. She relocates to Korea in an effort to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, but when she learns that he is having an affair, everything in her life changes. Leading actors in the show include Anna Cathcart, Choi Min-young, Peter Thurnwald, Anthony Keyvan, Lee Sang Heon, and Kim Yun Jin. On May 18, 2023, Netflix will begin streaming it.

SAAS BAHU AUR FLAMINGO

‘Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo’, a venerable online series from Dimple Kapadia, will debut on Disney+ Hotstar on May 5, 2023. The narrative depicts a modern-day conflict between a domineering and forceful mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law. Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Isha Talwar, and Angira Dhar play the key characters in the show.

THE MOTHER

‘The Mother’ features Gael Garca Bernal, Omari Hardwick, Lucy Paez, Joseph Fiennes, and the immensely popular American actor Jennifer Lopez in the key roles. The life of a mother and daughter is essentially the subject of the tale. In order to save the daughter she earlier abandoned while from brutal attackers, an assassin emerges from hiding.Netflix will start streaming it on May 12, 2023.

TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR

On May 5, 2023, Netflix will release ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’. Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, and Anubhav Singh Bassi all appear in it.It is a contemporary love story about a boy and girl who enjoy flirting but think that romance is a game of cunning and trickery.It boasts fantastic characters, a lovely setting, and a lot of cheesy pick-up lines.

DAHAAD

With ‘Dahaad’, Sonakshi Sinha will make her OTT debut.The small-town setting of the criminal mystery thriller series Dahaad.The story centres on a female police officer who is troubled and perplexed by a crime and is looking for answers.Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Sohum Shah, and Gulshan Devaiah play the key characters in Dahaad.On May 12, 2023, the series will be available for viewing on Amazon Prime Video.
