Met Gala 2023: Pathetic! Food At The Event Gets CRITICIZED For 'Poor Quality' As WHOPPING PRICE Charged For Tickets
Met Gala 2023 was co-hosted by Penelope Cruz, Michaela Coel, Roger Federer, Dua Lipa, and Vogue's Anna Wintour. Indian celebrities who made their presence known included Natasha Poonawalla and Isha Ambani, who joined Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Alia Bhatt on the red carpet.
According to a report, the Vogue special events division and caterer Olivier Cheng drew inspiration from one of Karl Lagerfeld's most well-known events: the wedding reception he arranged for Paloma Picasso for the 2023 Met Gala. Dinner was given to guests in antique China and included chilled spring pea soup with baby vegetables, lemon creme fraiche, and truffle snow. The salmon course was Ora King salmon with vegetable nage, asparagus, pickled strawberries, and radish.

The event's dinner menu is currently becoming popular online, and Twitter is responding to it in strange ways. This year's meal was influenced by Karl Lagerfeld. Now that the celebrities were seated at the dinner table, they were presented with a menu that we were unable to understand, surprising even Twitter.
Although the Met Gala tickets were extremely expensive (Rs 41 lakh), the event's food raised questions. The cuisine served at the glossy event, which Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue, hosted, did not impress the internet.
