On December 13, Harnaaz Sandhu made every Indian proud as she clenched the coveted Miss Universe 2021 crown, becoming only the third Indian woman to achieve the feat after Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta. She brought home the crown 21 years after Lara Dutta won it in the year 2000.
We have seen it often that beauty pageant winners generally end up joining the entertainment industry after some time. But since Harnaaz Sandhu is already a popular name in Punjabi cinema, people are now wondering if Bollywood is going to be her next stop.
In a recent interview, when asked if there is any actor or director that she would like to debut with, Sandhu said, “Given a chance, I am excited to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I love the way he works, I love the quality, the art, the feeling and the depth of each and every detail that's in his movies and his work.”
The Miss Universe added that she has a lot of respect and love for Shah Rukh Khan. “I have mentioned this before, I share a lot of respect and love for Shah Rukh Khan. The amount of hard work he has done and is still doing, it’s never enough, I think. But he has always stayed grounded, he has always managed the success. And the way he has been talking in every interview, that really inspired me, that it’s just about your attitude that takes you places. He is a wonderful artist and a wonderful human being.”
We hope Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shah Rukh Khan are reading this.
