Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu sued by The Kapil Sharma Show fame Upasana Singh for breach of contract
Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu, who is all set to make her debut in the entertainment industry with the upcoming Punjabi film Bai Ji Kuttange, is currently facing legal trouble. Harnaaz has been sued by actor and producer Upasana Singh for breaching a promotion agreement she made with the actress. Harnaaz is in violation of her contract now, according to Upasana, who claimed that she offered her a chance in the film when she wasn't the Miss Universe.
According to a civil lawsuit brought by Upasana Singh in the Chandigarh district court, Harnaaz refused to provide dates for the promotion of Bai Ji Kuttange despite having signed a contract with her Santosh Entertainment Studio LLP promising to be accessible both physically and virtually for the project. As a result of the claimed contract violation, Upasana has sued Harnaaz for damages.
According to sources, Upasana said to journalists outside the court, “I gave Harnaaz a chance to act in the movie Bai Ji Kuttange. Not only this, I also made Yaara Diyan Poo Baran in which Harnaaz is the heroine as well. I gave her a chance at that time when she was not Miss Universe. I spent a huge sum on this movie. It is not a small-budget movie."
In December 2021, Harnaaz Sandhu won the title of Miss Universe at a contest in Israel.
