The actress who married Ranbir in the month of April this year announced her pregnancy with him in the month of June. Alia who is set to deliver her baby is currently on a break from all her professional commitments and is enjoying time with her family and loved ones. The actress recently shared pictures from the Diwali celebration with her and Ranbir’s family. Now, to celebrate her mother Soni Razdan's 66th birthday, Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt tweeted a touching message on Tuesday. The past year, Alia writes, has let her realize how "wonderful a soul" her mother is.

Alia posted a color and a black-and-white photo of her mother and then with herself. She referred to Soni as both the reason she was alive and her "safest refuge." Along with the pictures, Alia penned a heartfelt caption which read, “happy birthday to the most incredible human - my safest place - the reason of my existence & any kind of normal functionality today .. ☀️☀️☀️☀️

In 1986, Soni wed the director Mahesh Bhatt. Alia and Shaheen Bhatt are two of the couple's daughters. Soni has acted in a number of films, including Mandi, Gumrah, and Saaransh. The 2018 movie Raazi, which was a box-office hit, featured Alia and Soni together.
